The wind whispers stealthily in my ear,
I look around as if you are near,
I close my eyes and a tear trickles down,
Even in the rains the leaves here are brown,
The leaves of my life..
The pain of separation gnaws at my insides,
In my heart only that pain now resides,
I stare ahead with expectant eyes,
Searching for you, waiting for a surprise,
To end all strife..
So many days I've been without you,
The moments spent together seem untrue,
What am I, if you're not with me
I'm just your shadow, that's all I'll ever be,
Come to me, fill up my life..
